Stainless steel rungs - easily wiped clean, and no risk of rusting or marking clothes like wooden rungs.

Compact - When not in use, the clothes horse folds down to a compact size, making it easy to store between uses.

Drying space - The star shape form of the Clothes Horse, allows for good air circulation, whilst accommodating a variety of different length clothing. Long items in the middle, medium sized items on the sides, then smalls and underwear on the bottom.

FSC approved - As part of our commitment to eco-conscious design, all of the wooden components are made from FSC certified timber, and therefore responsibly sourced.

Assembled in the UK - To reduce the carbon footprint of our products, all components are sourced as locally as possible, and then assembled by hand and dispatched from the UK.

Packaging - All of our packaging is plastic free, 100% recyclable, and made from 50% recycled materials.

Assembly - Product comes fully assembled. Metal rods/rungs must be wiped clean before first use, to remove any residue left from production, and to avoid clothes from being marked.

At DUNKERTON; the impact we have on our planet is extremely important to us, which is why where we can, we import our product as components, reducing the carton size and packaging required to get them here. We then assemble our Clothes Horses by hand here in the UK.

All of our packaging is 100% recyclable or biodegradable and is made up of 50% recycled content, and we encourage you to dispose of it appropriately.

We make sure that all of the timber we use is responsibly sourced and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved.

Finally, whilst we design our products to out live us, we understand that there may come a time when you wish to part with your Clothes Horse. Firstly, we’d encourage you to pass it onto someone else, if not we’d happily take it off your hands so that we can reuse/repurpose the components and materials, for another piece, giving you 15% off your next purchase and taking us one step closer to a fully circular economy.

However, if you are unable to pass it on or return it to us, please do not send it to landfill. Our Clothes Horses are composed of fully recyclable components, so simply dismantle and recycle appropriately.

To open, simply lay the Clothes Horse (CH) on its back, pulling out and up, as indicated in the images below.

The CH must then be locked into position, using all four hooks before being loaded. The CH must be placed on a flat, even surface, and must be positioned at ground level and out of reach of children and pets.

When loading, the clothes should be distributed evenly to prevent the CH from rolling or tipping. Do not move, roll, or carry the CH whilst loaded or erect.

Longer garments such as dresses and towels, are to be hung in the centre of the CH, with shorter garments, t-shirts, and shorts, on the sides, with smalls on the bottom.

To collapse the CH, simply unfasten the hooks and slowly lower/collapse to the floor. Do not drop or force the CH closed as this could cause injury, trap fingers, or damage the CH. All clothing must be removed from the CH before collapsing.

Simply store indoors at room temperature, in a cupboard or closet. Do not store up high, and do not store outdoors, anywhere damp/humid, or next to a direct heat source, as this will cause the timber to warp.

To clean; wipe with a clean damp cloth. Do not use any chemical-based cleaning products, as this may damage the wooden components. The CH is exclusively for indoor use and must only be used as intended by the manufacturer, for drying clothes. The maximum load of 10kg must not be exceeded, doing so will cause the CH to collapse, warp, break or give way.

The CH can only be used by a responsible adult, and must not be used by, or in the presence of unsupervised children and pets or near an open flame. It must not be rolled or used as a climbing frame, to do so will cause the CH to collapse and could cause injury.

By purchasing a CH you agree to our Terms & Conditions (T&Cs), failure to abide by them voids warranty, making the customer liable for damage/breakages to the CH, as well as injury to themselves or others. We aim to dispatch all orders within 5 working days. We will update you once your order has been dispatched, all of our deliveries are tracked via DHL

UK Shipping - Once dispatched, deliveries should arrive within 3-5 days.

International Shipping - We ship our products worldwide (or wherever DHL can reach), for international shipping, prices and delivery times may vary and will be dependent on current shipping rates and conditions. If your country of delivery is not listed, please get in touch through our contact page so we can find an alternative solution.

International deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. We are currently unable to cover the cost of this, and the responsibility to pay lies with the customer of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information and an estimate of their cost before placing your order.

Returns and Exchanges - For a full refund, returns must be made within 14 days of receiving your product and all items must be in their original condition, unused and in original packaging. We will not be able to process a refund for any used or damaged product.

All returns must be sent using a tracked delivery service to ensure easy confirmation of receipt. Refunds will be credited to your account within 10 working days of receipt.

The cost of any returns would need to be covered by the customer. We are also unable to reimburse you the original shipping cost.
